The ukranians are genocidal? Sorry, what?

EDIT: sorry I stirred trouble. I think its good to be critical of any government. From what I know, Ukraine's military is mostly killing invaders, which is not what I would characturize as a genocide on their part. On the other hand Israel's military...

Historically the western aligned factions in eastern europe are those that sided with the fascists in ww2. When the US and Europe interveined in Ukrainian politics in the early 2010's that's who was elevated and that's who's in charge now.

So now the regional director of the holocaust has a national holiday in his honor. Slava.

The extermination of Russian speakers within their borders prior to the war was certainly genocidal, no?

i mean if you declare independence and take over a region, you should probably expect a military response from the country you're declaring independence from

that clip says "2500 dead" but it doesn't say who killed who or how many of those were soldiers, and there's no timestamp for when it was released so it has to obviously be after the separatists already declared independence

look, i'm no fan of ukraine but it definitely seems a lot of y'all drank the kool aid

You have the order of events perfectly reversed. The Ukrainian coup government began ethnic cleansing of people in the east. This resulted in a separatist movement. It would be very, very weird to have a resistance movement before there was anything to resist. What you're saying is the equivalent of "Hamas arose out of nowhere and started the war on October 7th."

It is very ironic to accuse others of drinking kool aid while yourself repeating actual fascist propaganda and historical revisionism.

I see you also do not take well to being corrected.

    It's from 2014.

Now is that before or after the American coup?
