Why do phone screens/UI never incorporate or compensate for the front camera? On almost any phone made in the last few years, each one has an ugly black dot/circle on the front corner, and it's especially noticeable anytime the screen is on.
They should. Android has native support for a number of in-screen camera locations. https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/layout/display-cutout
Yeah well even the YouTube app doesn't support it.
Someone on the other thread speculated that Clicks isn't big enough to get custom screens made, and might just have to go with an off-the-shelf design that already has the hole.
Or it could just be m i n i m a l i s m.
My OnePlus has this, iPhones have it as far as I'm aware, most other android phones do too.
