Okay can we just get this myth out of the way already? Coffee DOES count. It increases your fluid intake and the diuretic effect is mild at best, absolutely not enough to overtake the benefits of taking in fluids.

Sure, water is better, it's less acidic and if you have an issue with caffeine you don't want coffee, that's fine. But I'm sick of this notion that, in trying to stay hydrated, if you pick anything other than water it "doesn't count".

That's just silly
