Never a better time to switch to Jellyfin: Plex increases price of Lifetime Plex Pass to $749.99 (sh.itjust.works)

Today we’re announcing an important pricing update. Starting July 1, 2026, the price of a new Lifetime Plex Pass will increase to $749.99 USD.

When Plex first started, we were movie and TV fans who wanted to make something great for people like us. We chose to offer a Lifetime subscription early on because we knew many of our customers would rather pay a higher one-time fee for software that they can depend on every day.

We’ve considered eliminating the Lifetime Plex Pass in the past, given that recurring subscriptions help us sustain long-term development, but we know it’s still a valuable option for many in our community. So instead of retiring it, we’re keeping it available at a price that reflects the real, ongoing value of the software we’re committed to building and maintaining for years to come.

Hey, your choice is your choice. And I certainly don’t know you or your parents, if my parents flew swastikas I wouldn’t talk to them either, but that’s a little different, no? My mom is a SUPER liberal, and she is pro ICE, pro Israel, says some pretty heinous things about other races, but I still do love her because she’s my mother and did teach me away from the right, kind of. I would never cut her off.

Also the gun thing might be something that could land your father in prison holy shit. Idk how this website works much but be careful, though honestly it might make you feel better if he’s locked up 😅. Them guns you describe is HOT!

    I actively tried and failed to get him arrested for it.

    He belongs in a prison, he has done many more crimes than that.

    And uh, no, its no different. MAGA are American Nazis, they're directly analagous to the OG German Nazis in a stupendous amount of ways, even if they are not literally flying Swastikas.

    Frankly I have no idea how you can have a .ml account and at the same time not realize that MAGA literally are the 21st century, American version of Nazis.

    I’d argue America in general, especially the government are the 21st century Nazi… I agree with you but you should look into, literally every intervention since ww2 alone. Our actions in Isreal are enough to justify everyone, bipartisan, being prosecuted… Operation paperclip saw Americans recruiting Hitler’s top guys. America has always been the Nazis since the Nazis were defeated by communists.
