"Don't give a shit" is a rather harsh phrasing. I've read three of her stories and also enjoyed them, but didn't find them too compelling. And that's fine; not every book or author is a perfect match for everyone, and not every genre perfectly translates for all readers.
I definitely see the appeal of her work, and I'm grateful for her contributions to the general SF/fantasy genres. I like that more "cozy" works like hers exist, and are popular. But also, it's just not the kind of reading I'm into, and so be it.
