They made web 1.0 forums fun in a way that 2.0 forums lacked. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 months ago (2 children) I was tempted to add them to a custom fork of Voyager. But then figured people would just block me out of annoyance. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Confused_Emus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 point 4 months ago (1 child) Are we talking about the image at the bottom of their comment? I’m on Voyager and I can see it. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 months ago (1 child) Yes but your client won’t add such a sig after every comment you post. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Confused_Emus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 point 4 months ago Oooh, I follow you now. permalink fedilink source parent [+] fossilesque@mander.xyz [S] 1 point 4 months ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 1 point 4 months ago (1 child) Since I was planning on making this a client side hack, I can’t affect how the server or other clients render it. I was thinking of making it just a small length, possibly with small text, which can be expanded like spoiler text. Then the existing markdown should support it. I remember someone here on the fediverse used to post with a kind of sig ( I think it was something like a copyright disclaimer.) I haven’t seen them in a while though, and not sure what client they were using. Plus no one uses my custom voyager fork AFAIK, so I would be the only one with an sig. which would be kind of dumb. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] fossilesque@mander.xyz [S] 1 point 4 months ago* (last edited 1 month ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent
