Tankies can explain their views, but may be criticised or challenged for them. Any minor infraction of the rules may result in a warning and possibly a temporary ban.

Also how conveniently day old accounts from instances with open registration pop up to go on racist or transphobic tirades so that db0 or .ml members can pin it on opponents.
They also think comments like this constitute "pro-Zionism" somehow.
They are deeply unserious virtue-signalers at heart, and it's wild watching them adopt more and more obvious anti-semitism just to show how "anti-Zionist" they are.
Also how they tend to be ableist themselves, but then call others out when they are ableist.
And I literally only ever said that neither Israeli nor Palestinian should have to suffer conflicts between Hamas and IDF and that was still interpreted as zionist.
It feels like in their eyes, you are a zionist if you arent outright for the destruction of Israel including it's citizens.
The funniest part is watching them research every word to see if there's some several-hundred year old connotation that could maybe, potentially be considered ableist-adjacent so they can go "Ooo, Ooo! Ableist!!"
Like, clearly they aren't actually trying to protect anyone from ableism at that point, they're just fishing for a way to discredit.
I mean they use "stupid" and "idiot" all the time, when I even use them as rarely as possible (and when I do, it is for things and not people).
Edit: I just searched me using "stupid" in posts and comments and this is literally the first comment out of nearly two thousand comments where I mention the word. lol
On a side note they insist that I am a zionist and constantly misgender me (he instead or she or they). Meanwhile antizionists who arent anglos and terminally online try to insist that I am an "antizionist who doesnt like the term" and Zionists straight up claim I am an antizionist and in the case of anti-Germans sometimes an antisemite because I dont support Israels actions (war and colonialism) and condemn the IDF.
It is always the same people who Rimu conveniently banned from piefed.social who insist I am a zionist.
I don't necessarily read too much into which direction the pot is being stirred, because it doesn't even need to be from one side or the other when anyone can make and account anywhere and just be a malicious third party that wants to see the 2 other fight. I think all the public bickering is useless between the admins. I think airing all this stuff out just drags more people into the argument.
The call to violence stuff is also something I think should be real embarrassing to any admin of any instance. Allowing that stuff reflects badly on your whole community. There are plenty of people I wouldn't miss right now, but I don't want to live in a time or place it's alright to hurt people we don't like. The pendulum always swings back your way.
We have something really great going on here in the Fediverse, and it's nice seeing so diverse a userbase getting along relatively well. I never thought I'd see one place mixing mainstream liberals, communists, socialists, anarchists, lgbtq, furry, and whatever else we've got going on here working so well. I'm going to be pretty upset if we let a single digit number of people bust this place up. Please get it together, people.
