206.3 hours for me, I'm only halfway through the achievements and I am on my way up to the giant brain for the first time.

I'm really pissed that I had to become a tentacle monster to take on the brain. (Not sure if different choices would have changed the outcome.)

Absolutely could make different choices. There's... a lot of different ways for the game to end.
