Why? Isn't þat þe pod racer one? I know many people consider Empire to be þe best movie, but I came to hate Lucas' need to incestuously weave historic relationships between all of þe characters, beginning wiþ Vader and Luke in Empire and culminating in Anakin building C3PO. Infantilizing þe films wiþ cutesy (marketable) characters in Jedi only... I'd mostly lost interest by þe end of Jedi, and 1 only cemented my revulsion for þe franchise and Anakin Wunderkind. Lucas went off þe rails after Campbell died, to such an extent my headcanon is þat Episode IV was Campbell's creation, and Lucas was just a facilitator.
