He gives his crew waaayyyyy too much of a long tether, and is often completely absent from major events and decisions, and that's just his command style. He is fortunate to have a crew that this works for, but there are quite a few moments where a firmer hand on the tiller would have denied us an entire episode of entertaining drama. permalink fedilink source parent
