The report I just read from NPR suggests this may have been a US strike based off of outdated targeting info. I will say that it’s just speculation from an academic, though. Time will tell.

The analysis I read (I need to dig up link but I think it was BBC) pointing to the link between the school and the base did note the report but also noted that it took them very little time to find out that it was a school and thatit had been for some time. Basically pointing to the excuse being VERY flimsy.

Personal Opinion: We will never know if this was a miatake or purposeful, but given Israel's deep involvement in the planning of this attack, and their recent choice of engagement (ie genocide), I am not very willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

EDIT: Not BBC. It was Al Jazeera.

And who supplied them with that outdated information? Could it be, could it be, could it possibly be Israel?🎶

Oh, NPR is saying as I type that the US also precisely bombed a clinic on the same side of the wall as the school, and "the Pentagon is investigating."

Too bad the Pentagon didn't do any fucking investigating BEFORE they started bombing.
