Starfleet academy has been rather divisive with fans and Star Trek fans as a whole have been known to be rather vocal.

Have you been paying attention to any of the comments made about the show (positive or negative) and has any of this effected your mental health (positive or negative)?

Also wanted to add that I'm personally loving the show and Jay-Den has been a standout character for me.

    There's a strong tradition of griping about new Trek shows since TNG was announced. I hope the people working in them don't let the criticism affect them.

    DS9 especially got one of the absolute worst fan reactions at the start. Primarily over the fact it wasn't set on a Starship with a story of the week layout. History has shown it to be one of, if not the, best shows in most people's rankings however.

    Trek fans are some of the worst to get early feedback from honestly. So many just have kneejerk reactions and are defensive for no reason.
