I work for a tech company that unfortunately gets quite a few subpoenas, from little police departments to the letter agencies, and I have pushed back on subpoenas and warrants that I felt infringed on peoples rights and "negotiated down" the scope of them. If a company isn't willing to try and keep their users out of the legal crossfire they're cowards.
