Now I just gotta do the sides and the inside as well as fix up the terrain around it. I also might add glowstone to illuminate the windows.

Thanks! I did take inspiration from Norman castles so glad you like it. I thought of adding some fountains because it does need more water. But it's kind of on a hill so not sure if a moat would look good or not? But I might try that out and see. Its' a cool idea and would let me make a drawbridge since there is a gatehouse already.

    Yeah, the location on a hill is really good. I was just thinking of a ditch about maybe 5 blocks deep and 8 blocks wide up against the outer wall. The walls that are already on the edge of the hill don't need it.

    A good example of what I'm thinking of is Coch Castle in Wales.

    Ok thanks I will try it and see and thansk for the idea. I love welsh castles. I went to Castell Rhuddlan and Beeston Castle. Well Beeston is technically not a Welsh castle but close enough lol.
