I joined it, and linked it, because I liked getting my xkcd's in my reddit feed from r/xkcd, because that meant there were comments to engage with. How the fuck is that useless? Why the animosity? Additionally, if you'd bothered to check that community, the posts link to Randall's actual site. You still have to visit it. This was how r/xkcd did it too.
