I had a dream (literally) that I was talking to someone and saying how the financialization of the US is correlated with the rise in "influencers" who don't really do anything other than market product and opinions (or words to that effect). As dreams go, it may be one of the most coherent dream thoughts I've had and I'm like... "was I onto something??" Like I guess the general idea was this type of influencer role exemplifies the hollowness resulting from financialization.
