As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming

The president's campaign against the industry threatened future projects, even before three US judges blocked enforcement of a government construction ban.

But have you heard of this new wonder material, coal? You just pull it out of the ground and burn it! Who needs the stupid sun and wind anyway? We’re gonna grow all next year’s crops under a big dome to keep that woke-ass sun out of our business and grow everything with asbestos and racism!
