ai upscaled, not ai, if you reverse image search, the set this photo is from has existed for years

    Upscaled with ai, that means it is an existing image that has been run through ai to make it a higher resolution. It's a lowsy upscaler so there's artifacts like that

    I do not think anyone cares that there was a non-AI original, that's literally how these things work. It's not even a secret.

    If you like the original, great--post it! But for God's sake, you need to learn to check yourself.

    I don't love ai upscaling but it doesn't make the picture it's upscaling ai generated. Plus this person created this community they can post what they want as long as it doesn't go against our site wide rules. I would love for people to stop reporting this post for "AI" especially given that's not one of the (zero) rules this community has.
