Quite a few sequels have to retcon the characters progression from the first movie to have a story to tell. What are examples of sequels who managed to avoid that? (piefed.zip)

It's been a long while but I think back to the future manage to squeeze in two sequel without retcon the character.

Except the whole "nobody calls me chicken" bit.

Yeah, that part is weird to be used as a plot device.
