Remind me again how many actual criminals ICE has detained as a percentage??

I too would like to know if my initial estimate of 0.02% is in the ballpark

Quick note - much like the difference between gender and sex, there is a difference between legal and ethical law. The government (sometimes the DoJ) controls the laws and dictates what is 'criminal'. This, as I'm sure America will continue to show us, does not always align with ethical laws, therefore an 'illegal' act isn't always morally wrong, and a 'criminal' isn't always a bad person.

Last I heard 72% had no criminal convictions. Yes, most of those are still in violation of the law, but depending on exactly how they crossed the border, those are almost all civil complaints. Couldn't quite parse the laws, but I came away thinking you have to fuck up pretty bad for the crossing to be criminal.

We're throwing people in concentration camps for the legal equivalent of a moving violation. (Honestly, I didn't plan that pun.)
