It's frustrating because back in August, when ICE went into DC people in Chicago were doing the whole anime boy butterfly meme going. "Is this MaRSHall law? What's happening to America?" It was frustrating they ignored Los Angeles from June and didn't know about martial. It's frustrating because Chicago had three fucking months to prepare and learn and they didn't. It's still frustrating because we in LA keep reaching out to different activists to help there and hear nothing back. They have some excellent moments but they are not at all organized.

edit: I think the worst part of this story is he went back to sleep. Didn't know to call rapid response. Didn't have a clue about reaching out to community defense. Just was like... welp. Zzz. Smgdh.
