    Some of the places these memes get posted and saved from have AI parsing the image for "offensive content" resulting in algorithm shadowban and leading to censorship resembling captcha text. While Lemmy doesn't have an algorithm, it doesn't matter much due to the degradation of memes, there's an xkcd for it but i can't be assed to find it

    Don't misquote me, you can either put more effort into posting or you do deserve to deal with people roasting you for it.

    "Wah wah traffic" you wot mate. Put a big FUCK over the censor or make some OC. Low effort reposting isn't needed here

    Edit: just noticed this was oneninetysix, now I feel conflicted because it really is a board for low effort posting, while we should also be avoiding censorship or AI slop on lemmy
