If I had to guess, VRAM is probably holding stuff as a cache. VRAM doesn’t use a lot of power and as long as you aren’t seeing out of memory issues, it doesn’t really matter. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] nuko147@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago I'm gaming with an NVIDIA GPU, so my VRAM is kind of limited. I'm at my limits in games because the company cheaped out on VRAM in their GPUs after the 10 series. permalink fedilink source parent [–] SorryQuick@lemmy.ca 1 point 1 year ago (2 children) 400MB??? What do you have running? I never use more than 100 unless I open a game or something. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] nuko147@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 child) Well, screen is running at 4k, so i think its normal. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] SorryQuick@lemmy.ca 1 point 1 year ago Ah, yeah that changes things a bit. permalink fedilink source parent
