I saw another post here talking about supporting this instance and the costs of storage. Obviously there are going to be funding needs which made me wonder about advertising on Lemmy. Is it possible? Is it banned? What about Lemmy in general? The Fediverse as a whole? I’m mostly just curious.

This. I'll try to run the instance with donations. If it doesn't work out and I get fired from my job etc. I will pass it on to someone who can do.
