People died because of their hubristic and needlessly extravagant hobby: visiting the wreck of a vessel that famously killed people because of hubris and needless extravagance. Sure I'm not laughing out loud or celebrating their death, but you must admit there's at least a wry irony here.
People frequently die climbing Everest, but we don't pillary them for ever having tried it.
What you do in your own home is your business, but posting memes publicly for anyone (including the family of the deceased) to see is in poor taste
Actually, I call Everest the realist Tourist Trap for that reason. The cost of my hobbies cant pay for life saving medical treatments.
