I just worked out it was 9 years ago for me. I'm even older than I thought...

    Try 30 years +. It's just a waste of time and money. Did house parties for awhile. A couple of block parties over a decade ago. A Superbowl party a few years ago, but it was to mingle with neighbors, not the alcohol or entertainment. I was extremely bored.
