If you don't get top of the line, good chance you'll be double clicking in 6 months of moderate use. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Impleader@lemmy.world 1 point 1 year ago (1 child) I hear about this a lot, but I feel like it must be a problem with newer models. I have a G502 from 2016 (pre-logo change) that gets heavy office/gaming use 8-10 hours most days and still works perfectly. The metal scroll wheel is pretty corroded though. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] kipo@lemm.ee 1 point 1 year ago It's hit and miss. I've been using the G502 for years and I like the feel of it. I've gone through 3 and keep a spare in box for when it starts to double click. The X has been chugging for a couple of years now, but I've used a lot of mice, I really shouldn't have to spend $80 to get a mouse that lasts more than 6 months. Still, they absolutely want to force people to a monthly fee. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] zipzoopaboop@lemmynsfw.com 1 point 1 year ago That's my experience with Razer permalink fedilink source parent [+] primemagnus@lemmy.ca 1 point 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (3 children) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [+] endeavor@sopuli.xyz 1 point 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] primemagnus@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [+] endeavor@sopuli.xyz 1 point 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent
