Lemmy users and internet people in general are attacking this reformation of Digg and acting like Alexis Ohanian continues to be a piece of shit and that we should expect the same fast path to enshittification. I have a hard time thinking that after a long-term relationship with Serena Williams that Ohanian is so out of touch and unable to produce something good. His actions seem to be mostly in line with those in favor of consumers. They are relaunching it together. I am saying people are attacking the new Digg without considering that maybe, just maybe, Ohanian could be a good steward of a new social media site. I am willing to wait and see, I think he could potentially do good works in this space.
