So the Digg founder is attacking her?
No... Lemmy users and internet people in general are attacking this reformation of Digg and acting like Alexis Ohanian continues to be a piece of shit and that we should expect the same fast path to enshittification.
I have a hard time thinking that after a long-term relationship with Serena Williams that Ohanian is so out of touch and unable to produce something good. Like I said I am cautiously optimistic
I can appreciate your viewpoint here, but there are a lot of good people in this world that are married to absolute scumbags.

Ohanian just joined alongside Project Liberty (no relation to the weirdo right-wing grift with the same name, from what I can tell) to help buy out TikTok.
His actions seem to be mostly in line with those in favor of consumers. I, too, am cautiously optimistic.

He is a cofounder of this new Digg. He is involved with buying the site along with Kevin Rose.
See all these names mean nothing to me, so I'm still not following. Are you saying Digg is bad and reddit is good?
Kevin Rose and Alexis Ohanian bought Digg together. They are relaunching it together. I am saying people are attacking the new Digg without considering that maybe, just maybe, Ohanian could be a good steward of a new social media site. I am willing to wait and see, I think he could potentially do good works in this space.
It really helps to read articles or watch the newsclips associated with such news.
Yeah, just don't got time to watch the video this post is for. First time hearing these names. And hadn't heard anybody hating on it.
