It was easy to figure out that their marketing around privacy was complete bullshit. If you read their privacy policy (the current one or say one from ~10 years ago), it's pretty clear they give themselves the right to collect everything and do whatever they feel like with your data. Sure, it's all couched in comforting sounding language, but that's just a ruse.
