If you're living in dorms, you'll probably want some that is easily hidden, I found a straight hard plastic dildo was best, it was easily hidden in a sock or wrap it in clothes to and from the shower, plus no noise so its discrete when other people are nearby. You'll also need lube, I prefer water-based lube, but if you're using it in the shower silcone-based is better.
