Are white Americans going to experience racism online?
We already do just nowhere nearly as often as any other race
And as a white guy I usually sigh and think "they do be that way" because it's usually pointing out a large group of actual shitty people who also happen to be white. It's not like they are rare, lol.
I don't see why it would be that much of a shock. Racism isn't entirely the domain of white Americans. Ask a Japanese nationalist what he thinks of Koreans if you need evidence.
It is actually, haven't you seen? Racism can ONLY be perpetrated by White. At least that's what the internet told me.
The only people who say that shit are dumb teenagers who just discovered social justice yesterday. They're hardly indicative of the Internet as a whole.
Well, you also hear it from people who don't want to admit the US has an issue with systemic white supremacy.
Anyone who denies that is a deeply unserious person.
I wish that were true. I know too many people IRL that believe that and are old enough that they should know better.
Which college, and which classes?
Is it implicit? Or are you just searching for your strawman?
Because I've taken a similar course to one you listed, and it was never implicit...
So, it's just feels, then, that makes you think the idea is implicit, while never having been explicit, and even when people tell you it's factually just not accurate?
The people who tend to feel this way, are also the ones who tend to blame climate change is caused by DEI...
About to learn that some cultures have never even had to deal with it as a real possibility so there's zero social stigma.
