Except the government will probably make GoFundMe freeze the funds for the campaign.

    It's a legal defense fund, not a bounty reward.

    Granted, they'd probably still do so anyways.

    Oh, I'm almost certain that they would primarily because they would not want him having money to fight a legal battle.
