Monster Hunter Wilds hitstop feels way better in the non-beta build, and the game's director was happy to juice it back up after overseas players apparently hated it in World (www.gamesradar.com)

The slower feel of IG specifically in the wilds beta was because red essence no longer increases attack speed. It's a change I didn't like personally so I hope it gets changed as well.

    Well damn, I had no clue red essence did that. I thought it only unlocked your move set. Never played without it so I assumed that was just the default speed.

    Yeah, I hope they change that, too. There were a lot of things that made me dislike IG in Wilds but that was one of the bigger ones.
