I think the first prominent example of this was when those kids were trapped in a cave and everyone laughed at his dumb ideas to get them out and he lashed out calling a rescuer a pedo. A smarter billionaire would have just offered to pay for any logistical support they required and in the aftermath maybe given a stipend for the dead rescuers and built the kids a football pitch. Musk burned through 44 billion dollars to acquire Twitter and then he wrecked it. This is not a guy who has a plan. He only cares about that dopamine hit that getting his name in the news gets him. Now he's got his own social media platform that only exists to blow him.
