“Passkeys,” the secure authentication mechanism built to replace passwords, are getting more portable and easier for organizations to implement thanks to new initiatives the FIDO Alliance announced on Monday.

Not anything sufficiently modern. Salted passwords should be exceedingly difficult to reverse.
