I honestly can't even imagine what kind of scumbag would take the time and effort to deliberately try to put people in harm's way by doing something like this.

There's a painted bike lane / bicycle gutter that passes through an industrial area in my city. The municipality does a great job at clearing the street of debris with street sweepers, shoving all the debris into the bike lane ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Like a third of all the flats I've ever had are on that little patch of road that I don't even go through that often.

This is probably why I'm totally fine with the weight penalty from using Schwalbe Marathon tires. We don't have a major nail problem where I ride, but loads of idiots who like to shatter glass bottles anywhere they please.

I had to switch to Gravelking with ProTite protection layer to stop the flats from similar stuff. My tires are full of holes and cuts if you look at them up close but so far nothing has gone through the protection layer.
