It was a "shut the swivel eyed loons up" move and backfired in spectacular fashion. The Prime Minister quit the next day, and the only person that looked pleased was Nigel Farage as he knew he'd never have to deal with it or be held accountable in any way. The Tories will be annihilated at the next general election.
