It's good to go around the table and check what everyone is doing.

This comic follows on from the Previous comic which will almost certainly provide context.

Inspired by frustrating conversation I had. For those curious, that was the statblock of Caine, father of the vampires.

On the flip side, it's somehow easier to get people to attend scheduled meetings.

This poor fella's job as lieutenant was to just counterspell any mages and healers while his captain brother fought the barbarian and the fighter.

He proceeded to see the warlock burn his smaller regiment, turn into an angel and ignore any and all poisons used against him. When he got his sudden promotion, he figured best to just survive.

Hear ye, hear ye! Tales From the Tables is back with episode 52: Lady Mage of Waterdeep, part 2.

Apologies, not very meme-y this time, still submitting for the sake of completion and popular demand :)

Our intrepid adventurers befriend Laeral Silverhand, and get to know the fames Lady Mage of Waterdeep from a different, personal side. It's very much a Laeral special, lovingly consulted with the man, the legend, Ed Greenwood. It saddens me that so many D&D players only know Laeral superficially, if at all.

"Ruler of Waterdeep" "Oh, she's a powerful wizard and very old, isn't she?" And that's about the extend of most players' knowledge... She's a truly fascinating character who's walked Faerun for over 7 centuries, with beautiful, oft heart-wrenching stories to tell. I do hope my little hints at but a handful of events from her past will encourage a few people to at least read up about her on the Forgotten Realms Wiki, or better yet, reach for the many amazing books by Ed Greenwood or Steven E. Schend.

Granted, Entropy 4 can just give someone a disease, so Jesse is overcomplicating the matter and I really don't think this oculd be anything but Vulgar Magic, but....

“Alcohol is a mild poison” has been a house rule within my extended roleplaying circles for a long time. It fits well into almost any setting or metaphysics, and allows you to do interesting things with intoxication.
