Ever since release I'll get a random crash in the middle of gameplay. Sometimes it'll take a few minutes, sometimes an hour or so. Always during gameplay.

Sucks when I'm playing online and I lose my score :(

Very cool video that has a ton of information and visuals packed into it, really worth watching if you are a Quake2 fan

The first level in the remaster includes a new (to me?) part of the map and I can't find anything written about it at all. It's to the left of the main corridor; you can jump out the windows and find some more crashed rescue pods.

Thought I was going crazy (I played this game a lot many years ago) but booted up the 'original' game and it's not there.

Are there other changes to levels in this remaster? Or maybe this existed before in some other version I'm not familiar with?

If by some chance you don't own Quake games yet, you can by them if you want. GOG sale is live already, Steam will probably appear at some point soon.

There is a rumor Quake2 may have a remake similar to Quake1 and that it will be announced during Quakecon, so might be a good idea to own Quake2 on Steam in case they give it for free.

Found this on r/Quake kind of interesting, Quake III Revolution was a PS2 game that combined Quake 3 Arena & Team Arena with some other changes. Apparently the game had a ton of voice acting for the Quake3 characters, some are pretty bad while others are okay.
