I was in Santiago for his inauguration a week or so ago and people really didn't seem to give a shit. Aside from some enthusiastic old guy going around saluting and shaking hands with all the carabineros everyone I spoke to in the city hated him.

Lots of anarchist and communist sentiment in Chile. I don't know who is voting for these Nazis

Capitals and urban areas then to be more on the left. Try smaller cities and the suburbs to find way opposite reactions.

It's always impressive to see how quickly people can change their minds, like a buyer's remorse for voting for a candidate.

13% changing from "don't know" to "disapprove", which is an honest progression. 17% changing from "approve" to "disapprove" in 2 weeks.

Galvanize people with false perceptions during campaign season, then they're stuck with you until the next electoral cycle. I love democracy.
