the emojis themselves are stored at https://github.com/WhyEssEff/hexbear-emotes, updated intermittently and asynchronously. Since I'm all in on maintaining emotes themselves, all efforts for third-party integration are going to have to be taken up by someone else, and I don't mind what you use the repository for

Is there actually a way to search the database by the tags? Thought about mirroring the emoji but like only for the stuff I personally would use so I would want to filter to, idk, like just the anime emoji for instance.

Excellent idea, the spreading of the top tier emojis here could usher in the new age of memetics, or maybe they will just get assimilated and destroy any radical volition they have

I've used it since 2013ish. I use it generally to send files from pc to my phone. Keeping news links in channels. Its handy.
I imported a selection of hexbear emojis into my private matrix homeserver which is bridged with whatsapp, but I have no idea how to create sticker packs
Actual stickers would be cool so I could randomly tag public places with
