Unfortunately, the general public has no idea whatsoever of the Fediverse and doesn't care about the monopoly of information, mega platforms abusing your data, privacy, and so on and so forth. I'm old enough to finally have come to the conclusion that progress is not made by the masses but by smart, motivated and usually underappreciated individuals. Sadly.

And yet lots of people still believe sanctions and international isolation did nothing to Russia's economy. This is clearly not sustainable for Putin.

Yes but it isn't only boomers. Teenagers do this all the time in public transport (usually watching loud videos) and they don't have any excuses like for example being half deaf or not knowing how to mute their phone. It is one of the reasons why I prefer driving. I don't want to have an argument with some stupid shit every time I get on the metro.

It was not the last supper but a representation of the greek god Bacchus, since of course the Olympics have a greek origin. I find it funny that christians got so triggered.

I see this as a parenting failure, honestly. You're not supposed to just let your kid watch whatever without supervision IMHO. If you can't control what your kids watch, don't give them iPads!

Does the GDPR still apply to the UK after Brexit? I thought it was a EU law.

I use Jerboa and it works fine. There are alternatives.

Not surprising. Well, cash still exists, right? Or Monero..

Yes. With the added bonus of decentralization.
