They had 7 kids. We grew up in a five bedroom house (which they paid off when I was youngish). I have a baschelors of science and a masters degree and barely can afford a 2 bedroom condo and yes im doing very well compared to my friends. Oh he also got paid time and a half for working off hours (even if he had taken a day off during that week) and on weekends except sundays and holidays when it was DOUBLE TIME! permalink fedilink source parent
