Not really anything to get excited about. A faster CPU isn't going to really improve streaming much. It could enable gaming but that seems like it is premature without any game announcements. Will wait for any official announcement.

There are so many games though. Either one could look better with ray tracing.

TV interfaces will benefit from any extra speed they can get since it makes switching from app to app faster and makes the interface overall less clunky. Apple TV is already faster than any other streaming device or TV is out there but any amount faster is always better. Cell phones are pretty much the same now too, there really hasn't been much innovation over the last 5 years.

This! Of course a faster CPU is beneficial on a streaming device. The UI on most streaming devices is absolute torture compared to an ATV. Obviously once you’re in a show or movie there isn’t a much to be gained by a faster CPU but when I want to launch an app, I don’t want to wait around for 20secs for it to launch. I’ve got an ATV-HD and an ATV-4K2. I’d probably get the ATV-4K4 and shuffle my other two around the house.
