This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

It's a bit, but the real thing is almost as bad:

"I’m glad you did,” Harris said in response. “And again this is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth should not be suppressed and it must be heard, right? And one of the things that we’re fighting for in a democracy, right, a democracy is its strongest when everybody participates…”

She added soon after: “The point that you are making about policy that relates to Middle East policy, foreign policy, we still have healthy debates in our country about what is the right path, and nobody’s voice should be suppressed on that.”

Harris could have just said "ok yeah anyways" and it would have meant the same thing

I would respect her more if she just said shut up

She still fired a staffer over it.

God this is such a good example of how insufferable mainstream political discussion is. "Israel is genociding people." Reponse: "Everybody has a voice about the right paths in life and no one's voice should be suppressed. Next Question."

The voices defending and advocating for genocide should be suppressed actually.

Free speech has proven to be an abject failure, and isn't even real in the first place if you do any speech that actually harms the interests of the empire. There's a reason we call the CIA award for excellence in journalism 2 bullets in the back of the head or a stay in a blacksite for the rest of your life.
