Where do you live that you HAVE to learn manual? Here in Germany you have a choice of either learning manual or automatic. If you learn automatic though you are only allowed to drive automatic cars and if you learn manual you are allowed to drive both.

Another question came to mind: How is the food in the clinic? Are they able to provide vegan food?

How long was it an Epic exclusive?

Are you German? If yes I have some questions. In what order did you do the following things:

  1. Getting the Indikation from a therapist
  2. The first appointment with the surgeon
  3. Filing the costs for your health insurance

I'm not sure in what order I would have to do those things.

And congratulations of course! 🥰

Let's hope it won't be a chromium browser.

I wonder if Mozilla could've been Proton

I wonder if Proton will someday in the future add a browser to the tools they offer.

Calling Creation Engine Gamebryo Engine is like calling Unreal Engine 5 Unreal Engine 1. Almost no part of both engines are alike anymore after so many years of development. And Creation Engine can do so many things that other engines can't do like their easy and simple modability or stuff like how the engine remembers where every item in the world is regardless of if the player put it somewhere else. This notion that Bethesda RPGs would be 10 times better if they would just use another engine is so stupid.

ESO is also almost 10x older than Diablo 4.

Due to YouTube Music being included in that it's way too expensive for just removing ads. They need to add a tier that's cheaper to just remove ads.

It took me about a month maybe.

It tries to install the associated package when given a path to a configuration file.

Just to have some conversation here I'm curious how you chose your name if you've already chosen one and what the story behind it is? And if you haven't chosen your name yet, maybe people are able to help you decide.

As for me it was always pretty clear which name I would choose because a few years before even realising I'm trans much less coming out I asked my mum what name I would have gotten if I was born a girl. She told me that I always successfully hid my genitals on every ultrasound picture (kind of prophetic in hindsight) so my parents had to choose a name for both possibilities. And thus a name was already chosen for me that fit perfectly. 🥰

I'm curious to hear your stories!

I have the an extension installed for Firefox and I see the green dot under my extension menu on every website visit and everytime I reload a website indicating that it asks for permission to read data on that website again. When I hover over it it tells me that I can allow it for this visit and the cog wheel menu has the option "only when clicked" for "extension can read and write data" ticked. Clicking on that option does nothing.

How do I give the permission permanently? It's annoying to have to click that everytime.

I recently discovered SmartTube Next for Android TV to get an ad free experience and integrated Sponsorblock on my Nvidia Shield TV.

I found NewPipe for my phone but I don't see a way to connect my YouTube account to it and I guess I need to import my subs manually every time I change something.

So I'm wondering if there is an alternative YouTube app that is blocking ads (and ideally integrates Sponsorblock) for my smartphone and has the ability to connect my YouTube account like SmartTube Next does?

After getting fed up with TrueNAS (after it borked itself for the third time and I would have had to set it up AGAIN) I decided to learn Ansible and write a playbook to setup my homeserver that way.

I wanted to share this playbook with you in case someone might find it useful for their own setup and maybe someone has some tips on things I could improve.

This server will not be exposed to the public/internet. If I want to access a service on it from outside my home network I have Wireguard setup on my router to connect to my home network from anywhere.

Keep in mind that I'm relatively new to sysadmin stuff etc so don't be too harsh please 😅
