AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Thanks! I’ve always been really partial to Tombow Fudenosuke felt tip pens, either the soft or hard tip. I don’t mind using other pens, but I always seem to circle back to those. I really like the resistance/feedback you get from the felt tip, and the fact that it’s water resistant makes it nice to use with watercolors or markers.

It also seems like it’s gotten pretty popular lately, so it’s nice to know that it’s probably not getting discontinued anytime soon. :)

Hmm that looks like a nice pen. Yeah water resistant ink is really useful imo, really annoying when you go to lay down some watercolour and get ink soup lol. I’ve not done much a with a brush pen so could be interesting to try out 🤔

I love the faint rays of light coming from the surface, for some reason they are the first thing that caught my attention. Which is weird, because there's so much great stuff going in this drawing! Kudos!

Thanks! The idea of a kelp forest seems so mysterious and pleasing to me.

Something about the combination of the way light refracts through the (relatively) shallow water, the dramatically reduced range of view due to the density of water, plus all the life that these forests can potentially harbor have really appealed to me lately. :)
