February 14th, CE70. Three days after Earth Alliance declared war on PLANT, an Alliance fleet entered Lagrange point 5 space to confront PLANT in February 14th with the aim to subdue the upstart coordinators.
However, the battle did not went in the favour of the Alliance as the attacking fleet suffered heavy losses. Facing with defeat and failing their strategic goal, Admiral William Sutherland onboard Alliance carrier Roosevelt ordered the Peacemaker Nuclear Task Force to launch, targeting the illegal agricultural colonies of PLANT. Intending to complete their mission of sabotaging PLANTs food production capability no matter what. A nuclear missile struck the illegal agricultural colony Junius Seven, shattering the colony to million pieces ina blinding flash, and took the lives of 243 721 people. This act turned the on-and-off skirmishes between ZAFT and Alliance into an all-out war.

Hey everyone!
Just finished 08th MS Team… holy shit I loved it! Especially the last 3 episodes, I was weeping at the end.
I spotted these GM’s and loved the colors, I assumed they were 03rd MS team based on the decals, but my searching is coming up with Red Giant 03rd MS Team and obviously there are so many GM’s out there!
Is there a specific name for this GM or other examples of the same colors? I want to customize a HG GM to look similar, but the show cuts to them pretty quickly and wonder if any other images exist.

This kit for being HG is pretty awesome. Bandai has really stepped up their game with this line, the kit has a pesduo-skeleton more like what you would see in a MG but not completely similar. The poseability and range of motion with the joints are also awesome.
The amount of seamline removal for this kit is very minimal as most of the panels for the armor are designed to kind of piece in for the look. But man... the masking tape involved for this kit is going to be crazy. Tons of small details that need attention. I'll be sure to post updates for this kit as I work on it, and others that I do soon. I also stream on Twitch when I build, if you're interested in watching the process feel free to ask for my handle.
What I find about this series most interesting is that I (a zaku enjoyer) really like the new gundam design over the new zaku design and have found that people that usually like gundams over zakus like the Zaku design better.

I got this on the cheap back in 2020, before watching Build Divers. Was a fun little build, and the Core Gundam concept intrigued me. Wasn't sold on having a bajillion option parts etc to buy. Picked up the weapon set later but never got around to building it.
Fast forward a few years and I have to hand it to Bandai. I've now got most of the Planet System sets and a bunch of Core Gundam variants, most picked up on discount. Budget became nonexistent around Plutine which is probably just as well since the reviews I've seen aren't kind to it. Which is a shame because I'm a sucker for purple mechs.
