Rules

AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

Here's my previous post with a similar vibe.

This time I needed a cool background image for my website, so I made this one. 480x480 px original, upscaled ×4 to 1920x1920 using NN sampling. I needed the image to loop on the x-axis, hence the tiny amount of variety in the foreground. It also works as a nice phone wallpaper.

I got better at making clouds since the last post. Back then I was still tracing clouds from some photos I took (the clouds in the previous post were fully traced from a photo), but now I just need to look at a reference at most and go "oh right, that's how clouds look" to start drawing. I also got better at lighting clouds.

With the mods approval, I'd like to invite everyone here to join [email protected]. I enjoyed doing inktober, and I want to keep using prompts, but in a broader way than ink52.

We'll begin the first week of January. For now, if you visit the community, I'm soliciting ideas for prompts. That can include a subject, but it can also be a technique, medium, color, or any other kind of inspiration. All types of visual art are welcome. Hope to see you there.

This is Agni the plasmoid cleric, my son's D&D character as drawn by me in MacDraw II. I'm trying to get some experience with action poses.

Inspired by some of the artwork posted by setsneedtofeed. (And no, I don't know how to tag people)

Happy Halloween!

This year I did a colab with my brother where each week we'd each draw one character from the MabsDrawloweenClub list and color for the other person.

I didn't know how it would turn out, but I really like it! And we're not incredibly burnt out!
