What do you think of David Lynch movies? (lemmygrad.ml)

I watched 'Inland Empire' and 'Blue Velvet' (read the content warning labels first) and I have no idea what these movies are about or what they're trying to tell me. I had the same feeling with watching Chainsaw Man. d; Does anyone know what these movies are supposed to be about?

Pretty good but find it hard to get past him singing the Polanski petition, also in retrospect of that its clear the guy isnt a feminist and has literally 0 idea how to write women.

A bit overrated imo
